Year 2012

The calendar year 2012 is around the corner, which is 2 days away. People gather around to greet the New Year with full of joy. Whatever good or bad has happened in the year 2011 is coming to an end.

New resolution s are made to fullfill the hopes and wishes of the many. When we wish ,we say " happy new year " that is to mean we hope the whole calendar year will be a happy and prosperous new year.

All these years I have tried to live a middle path whereby to think more positivity in my thoughts and actions. Although most of us cannot achieve the fullest, because of our weakness, we should be happy we tried. As for me , I will try to behave the way I behaved before, and try my best to improve my performance .

We should accept the fact that we, just like a seed when sowed grows to a young and healthy plant, which then bears flowers and fruits.. As time passes, not only the flowers or the fruits cease to appear, but the leaves refuse to grow and the bark of the tree withers. In the end , the tree falls to the ground in between it's siblings and rots untill it disappears. That is what life is about.

Christmas

Christmas. is hours away and the black clouds have vanished. Everyone is so cheerful. Phew ! sigh...What a terrible fortnight . Thank God it is over. I have never experience such moments of anguish and fear before. The bits which were scattered are now reunited and the hangover is really over. I am looking for a Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year.

Monsoon

The year 2011 ended with natural disasters around the globe. Bangkok was hit with flash floods. We had disasters mostly at the northern states of the peninsula. The rest of the states were also hit by the monsoon. Damaged has been done, but life has to go on until the next monsoon.

Thank you, dear mother nature for blowing away the bad weather. The bad weather has almost vanished but left hatred among those who went through the hard times. Nothing can be done as fate destined the whole episode. Even if the damages were repaired, scars of hatred and disgust will remain for some time. When we encounter such disaster, I believe we should try to accept the happenings as fate and face the future positively. We can forecast the weather but we cannot forecast our future.

A very sad and unfortunate story

This story starts with a happy moment for an old couple in thie 60's.

It begins like this ............a very fine day, they receive news that in a month or two, there will be a family reunion . They were very happy and anxiously waited for the day to arrive. These family members who live in different countries have not met for a number of years.

The days for waiting ended when the first couple arrived after traveling for 12 hours in a plane. There were smiles and hugs and a lot of tales to tell. Later in the day the second batch arrived very late. As it was very late they were not greeted by the host, and they stayed at a hotel. The next morning, the host went to fetch them. They proceed to the house of the host. On arrival, they were greeted by the rest of the family. There were full of joy and happiness and each one had a lot of stories to tell.

This happiness came to a sudden halt, when questions were raised on where to stay and bla bla bla....Many suggestions were made and the guests agreed to whatever offered. As the days passed, a lot of comments were exchanged, and certain parties engaged in unnecessary remarks which ended in anger and disgust. The next day came and one party suggested to return to their homeland. They left the fourth day of their visit with unhappiness promising themselves not to come back again.

The rest stayed behind, but we're not happy with their stay. The HOST was in a very sad state and was very sorry he could not satisfy the expectations of the guests.

The worst moment came when the host's car had problems and had to be towed to the garage for repairs. The quotation for the repairs came to a very unexpected price, and the host was unable to pay the bill. The host became very sad because he has to lose the only transport he had. This episode changed his hopes for a comfortable life . His family had to share his fate.

This is what I term as " A DISASTER ". This story explains how happiness can not only turn to sorrow, but....hate. Whatever happened, has happened and left a scar of unhappiness.

A MOTHER'S LOVE WHICH ENDED IN GRIEVE Part 2

She left her home and lived with this boy somewhere north of her state. They were very happy until she gave birth to her first child. The husband became naughty, and he neglected his wife. She became thrifty because she tried to safe as much money as she could to keep the family secured. This was when she became bold and independent. Although she suffered mental strain , she kept the family going doing just the impossible. As the years passed, she ended up by having four kids , one of them a boy.

She brought up the four children with all her love and kindness. Her husband was as naughty as he was, having fun. She gave her children good education.

As the years passed by, she kept on working very hard for the future of her children. Her dedication for the family never ended. But.......grief started to sip in. Lucky for her , her hubby turned into a new leaf, but the pain and sorrows she went through never stopped. She never met her goal. She was humiliated by some of her loved ones and branded an outcast. She was living in uncertainty and completely depressed. Today she is like a broken down shed.

This is her KARMA.

A MOTHER'S LOVE ENDED IN GRIEF

There lived a very young and beautiful girl, who in her teens was a very faithful child to her parents. She was intelligent and hardworking. She was forced to stop her education because of her family's powerty. She worked at little outlets just to help her mother to support the family. She was generous and whatever she earned, she gave her mother the money. She even helped her elder sister who was in powerty too.

As she was the fourth of the siblings of six, she was shy, timid but brave. Though the father was less responsible to the family, her mother managed to bring up the family of six by her sacrifices. Her mother was her hero and the years passed, she grew up and followed her MOTHER'S footsteps.

One very fine day, she met her match when she was working at her work place. He was dark but handsome. He was very persuasive and managed to win her heart. This girl's parents were not happy of the relationship because this dark horse was of a different race and religion. It was also the same with the boy's parents. His parents rejected her because she came from a poor family.

So some how and another, this couple continued their secret relationship. Nothing could stop their LOVE for each other. Although they lived very far apart, they kept their LOVE intact. No weapon could destroy their love. Time passed by and their love grew stronger. The boy proposed and she accepted. The mother of this girl accepted this young horse but the mother of the other side rejected. But as their love was so strong , nothing stopped them from tying the knot.

They married when she was 17 going 18, and he was 20 years old.
